Tourism Places—“Paralayang”

In this first place I will let you know about “Paralayang”. This is the Indonesian name for paragliding. The real name of the place is actually “Gunung Banyak”, yet most of the people in Malang just call it as Paralayang since they can see some people play paralayang there for free. You just need to pay for the parking fee which is just not much. I don’t really remember how much it was, yet as I know it was not more than Rp. 2000. There are not many sellers there. You will only find people who sell “cilok” a common snack that you can find in Malang. The shape is just like mini meatball which is served with tomato sauce, chili sauce and often peanut sauce too. You might not be used to the taste at first, yet when you have become used to eat it then it will just taste good enough, especially when you are at Paralayang which has cool weather anytime. It’s great to eat anything in this kind of weather which is why this cilok is great enough as your friend to see people paragliding or have a sight of the view down the hill.

You might get a great view in this place when you come there at the dawn, while waiting for the sun to rise. You can also have a great nice view when you come there in the night since the view of thousand lamps spark from below along with the stars will amaze you. There are many couples come there at this time. To sit at the back of the hill while seeing the view can be a privilege which you can enjoy at that time. Even when there are many other people around you, you will feel that the moment is just yours. If you love this kind of situation to enjoy in your free time in Malang then you should try to go to Paralayang someday.
