Today is Sunday. So I
want to tell you about an event that's only conducted on Sunday, in Malang of
course. This event is called "Pasar Minggu". It's like a market that
only opens on Sunday, in the most well-known street in Malang. When it's Sunday
you can find the Ijen Street which is usually crowded with vehicles become the
area for pedestrians and bicycles. You can also see people do calisthenics or
only enjoying happily the moment with their family there.

One thing that you won't miss when there's such
event in Malang, there will be some sellers which are placed in the north area
of Ijen Street. Many things are offered there, from clothes, cooking appliances
and also cutlery, sandals, shoes, veils, bedding, culinary snacks and many
more.
People come to Pasar Minggu
not only for enjoying the car free day on the busiest street in Malang, yet
they also want to do sightseeing the things that are sold there. They also like
to have their breakfast on the sidewalk of Ijen Street while watching people
walking and seeing some souvenirs, or only listening to the songs from some
singers which get into the sellers’ tents hoping for small changes.
It’s great to come to Pasar Minggu on Sunday. Yet I
have to warn you not to come there by the time the sun has raised high since
this market will be closed at 10 a.m.
You will also have
hard time enjoying your sightseeing if you come there more than 7 a.m. since
there will be crowded of people throng around the street with the same though
with you. It’s better to come there early, enjoying the
breakfast after jogging from your house to Ijen. You can get into public transports
when you want to get back to your house since there are many of them on the
corner of the alleys.

Sunday in Malang. You will occupy your time with nice experience in Pasar Minggu.
Actually I also want to get there now, yet as I have mentioned before that
coming there more than 7 a.m will just make you a dead meat among the crowd and
I want to experience such thing too. >.<
