Shopping Time!!!

Today is a day after the start of the month and seeing how our supplies have ran out means shopping time has come. We went to a supermarket downtown hoping there would be discount for disposable diapers and formula for forthweeks supplies. Happily, we got what we wanted there and bought some extras such as detergent and tissues.

Done shopping, I looked at the bill and wondering. Before becoming a housewife I never think about how much a month worth shopping would affect my salary. I just buy whatever I want and there will still be extra in my account. Yet now everything seems different from before. I have no income so everything comes from my husband salary.

It makes me worry whenever I buy something for myself. I'm affraid that without knowing I have become a burden for buying my necessities. Rather than buying for myself it will be better to buy things for my baby.

It will be a waste if I buy Rp.100000 make-up for myself if the same amount can get three bundle diapers worth for a month. I just realized that this is what being a housewife means. Still trying to cope everything till now. Hopefully I can do better after some time.

Laundry Day

Got so puzzled recently because of stain on my boy's clothes. He's gotten so active lately and everything seems to get on his way. On the end of the day the result is laundry full of stain to do tomorow. The hardest moments comes when I have to see the result of my laundry day comes not so good. Traces of stain still leaves its mark there such as saying that they have succeed to stand there even after I handwashed them dilligently-pfiuh.

If anyone has a good tested tips to get rid of dirt or stain from my boy's clothes please share it with this hopeless mother. This is a laundry day again and I will still handwash my laundry over and over again. Hopely this might work after so many times failed. Wish me luck, mommies!

Become a Mommy is Wonderful

Long time not writing anything about traveling now since I have a drastic change of life lately. Having a baby after married on 2013, I take turn as a housewife. Not because I do not have a job at that moment, yet both me and my husband think that parents are the best figures to take care of children. This starts a new stage of life for me.

Taking care of a child is more tiresome than working eight to five. This not only affects my stamina but also my mood. Sometimes it makes me lost my mind and stressed out. At that time my husband is ready to soothe my mood and help to take everything slowly.

Now I have more time to only look after my boy and do some hijab tutorial with my sis. This helps relieving my stress that has piling up for some time. I will share some of our creations in this blog to keep you syar'i and beautiful everyday. We love to do easy hijab tutorial that will be easy to make in a pinch of time. Check my blogs out so that you will not miss a thing, okay? ;)

Ciao!!! :*

Kediri's Charm – Visit Gudang Garam Company to See "Linting" Process

The most interesting thing that foreign tourists like to check when they come to Kediri is Gudang Garam company. Many of them like to know the process of making cigarettes manually. It's said as manually since the workers in Gudang Garam make the cigarettes with their hands. Of course they need tool, but it is traditional tool that still needs the workers' help to form the cigarettes. It's fun to see how their work with the cigarettes. They form it skillfully with their hands after they insert the wrap inside the tool and put in the tobacco on the middle of the wrapper.

This process is called "linting". It comes from Javanese which explains the process where you form stick shape by pressing the filling into the wrapper while rolling it from side to side. In Gudang Garam, they have two kinds of products which need this process. the first is for the "Kretek" cigarettes, and the other is for "Klobot" cigarettes. While for "Filter" one, this process is not needed.

This has become one of the tourist destination when they come to Kediri. Unfortunately, this tour is not open for all kinds of tourists. For them who stay in one of Gudang Garam hotels' group, then they will have a chance to visit this destination. To keep you from regretting beforehand, you should let your tour guide to check the schedule to visit this company in a month. They just give 4 dates -- in a month open for tourists' visit which makes this becomes an exclusive chance for you to come there.

Long Time No See \(*o*)/

It's been so long since I last wrote in this blog. Surprisingly, I miss it now! Since a month and half I have been working in a hotel, so that's why I haven't written any news in this blog anymore. But no worries, because of my new job, I have so many stories and places worth to know in Kediri now. Truthfully, I haven't known everything when I firstly came back in my hometown since I never gone anywhere when I was a student. After working in a hotel, I heard so many things about my hometown that I never knew before, wow! @_@

It's amazed me that even people outside Kediri love this town so much. The quiet surroundings and late blooming metropolis's atmosphere here attracts people to enjoy some relaxing days in Kediri. Night "pecel" seller on the Dhoho roadside, boating down the Brantas River, trying some extreme culinary menus such as snail and frog (it's called swikee in Indonesia). I will do some adventures in Kediri and share it with you later. Wait for my latest stories of Kediri and many places that I will dig in. Let me know what you most likely interested in so that we can share our stories here. v(^_^)v

Little bit Out of Story

Welcome Entrance of Kediri (from Malang, of course)

You might have gotten used to the stories about Malang now since I always give you an image about it. Yet, starting to next week I will move back to my hometown, Kediri, and might continue my story about this little and quiet town. I will still look for a great place to drink coffee, of course. And I want to share the stories with you. Wish you will still love to go along with my next stories even when I won't be in Malang anymore. Once in a while I will still write about Malang though, because I love this city a lot. You should come someday and try everything that I've tried here since you will never know whether I tell you the truth or just making stories if you don't prove it by yourself *giggle.

Tourism Places—“Paralayang”

Now I will tell you more about some tourism places that you can check out in Malang. I will give a short story about some of it so that you can get an insight about what kind of place that is.

People would jump in delight in Paralayang, Batu--view from the tip of the hill
